B.S. Music and Worship from Liberty University
Three years of higher education, refining my skills across a variety of musical contexts. Not just university training, but university insights: as I studied my craft, I studied the culture of music education across students and teachers, developing a philosophy and methodology that engages any student, any background, any age.
13 Years of Classical Training
10 years of training under double-Juilliard-grad, Teri Falk, and 5 semesters of training under Dr. Tad Hardin. Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, and more: I've received a robust classical education studying the piano titans of the past through the masters of today.
A Year of Teaching
During my last year of high school, I taught 15 students weekly, giving me first-hand experience teaching private lessons to elementary, middle, and high schoolers, and even middle-age adults: now supercharged by a college degree.
Extensive Ensemble Experience
Collaboration is at the heart of music. I've been a part of piano duets, an advanced vocal jazz choir, 3 years of a traveling worship team, and more. Plus, I have semesters of experience being a Music Director in various contexts, not just participating in groups, but leading them.
